Product Authentication & Quality Verification

Same Side sells unbranded home, garden and furniture products. Every item in our catalogue is our own-brand product. We do not sell, list or source goods that carry another company's trade mark, and no product in our catalogue is presented as being made by, endorsed by or affiliated with any third-party brand. This page explains how we verify that, for every product, before it goes live.

Our four-step verification process

1. Supplier vetting

We work only with wholesale suppliers of unbranded goods. Before onboarding a supplier we review their catalogue for items that carry third-party brand names or reproduce a protected design; suppliers dealing in such goods are not used. We retain supplier details and transaction records for every product we stock so the sourcing chain of any item can be demonstrated on request.

2. Pre-listing intellectual property screening

Every product passes a mandatory screening checklist before it is listed. We check the product, its images and all listing text for: third-party brand names and logos; manufacturer model numbers; comparative phrasing that references another brand or designer; and distinctive protected designs. A product only goes live once the listing contains none of these. This checklist has applied to our full catalogue since our July 2026 catalogue review, when we re-screened every listing and rewrote any that fell short.

3. Original listing content

All product photography on this site is created by us — we do not reuse supplier or manufacturer imagery. Product titles, descriptions and specifications are written by our team from the supplier's factual product data (dimensions, materials, functions), so every claim on a product page is specific to the item we actually ship.

4. Ongoing review

We periodically re-audit the live catalogue against the same checklist, and we act immediately on any report. If a rights holder or customer believes any listing infringes intellectual property rights, contact support@sameside.store with the product URL and the basis of the concern. We investigate every report and remove any listing that cannot be verified as compliant, typically within 2 business days.

What this means for you

Every item you buy from Same Side is exactly what the listing says it is: an unbranded product, accurately photographed and described, from a vetted supplier, with a traceable sourcing record. If any item you receive does not match its listing, our Refund Policy applies in full.
