This page explains where Same Side products come from, how we brand them, and our position on intellectual property. We publish it so customers, partners and advertising platforms can verify how we operate.

We are an own-brand retailer

Same Side is an Australian-registered retail business (ABN 12 917 631 966) operating from 10 Garnet Street, Cooroy QLD 4563, Australia. Every product sold on this website is sold under our own Same Side brand.

We do not sell, resell, or claim to sell products made by any other brand, and we do not stock third-party branded goods. Every item on this site is our own-brand product.

No affiliation with other brands

Same Side is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any other manufacturer, designer, design house or brand. We do not use any third party's trade marks, brand names, designer names, model names, logos or product photography anywhere on this website, in our product titles, in our product descriptions, in our product URLs, or in our advertising.

If you believe any listing on this site is described in a way that suggests otherwise, please tell us at support@sameside.store and we will review it.

How our products are sourced and fulfilled

Our range is made up of general consumer goods for the home, garden and outdoors — indoor furniture, lighting, decor, wall art and mirrors, kitchen and storage items, and outdoor living products. These are commodity product categories in which many manufacturers produce broadly similar goods.

Products are purchased from established third-party manufacturers and supplied to us as unbranded or own-brand goods, which we then sell under the Same Side name. We are authorised by our suppliers to sell every product we list, and we hold purchase records and supplier documentation for each item, available on request to any platform, marketplace or rights holder conducting a review.

Fulfilment disclosure: orders are dispatched directly from our partner manufacturers' fulfilment centres, primarily located in China, with tracked delivery to your door. Same Side is the seller of record and your contract is with us, an Australian-registered business; delivery timeframes published on our Shipping Policy already account for international dispatch.

Where a product uses a common, widely-produced form — for example a dome or "mushroom" shaped table lamp, a globe wall sconce, a fluted sideboard, an extendable dining table, a solar pathway light or a hummingbird feeder — that form is generic to the category and is not taken from, or intended to reference, any particular brand's product.

Product descriptions and imagery

All product titles, descriptions and on-site copy are written by us and are original to Same Side. All product photography on this site is produced by us and is not taken from any manufacturer, retailer or third party. We do not make comparative claims referencing other brands anywhere on this website.

Reviewing our own catalogue

We review our catalogue regularly. Where we identify a product whose form or name is closely associated with a particular designer or brand — even where we source it as a generic item — we rename or remove it rather than risk any suggestion that it references another brand's design. Most recently (15 August 2026), a hanging chair cushion listing that used a protected furniture design name was renamed to generic descriptive wording the same day the issue was identified.

Respecting other people's rights

We take intellectual property seriously and comply with applicable trade mark, copyright and registered design law. We do not knowingly list any product that infringes a third party's rights.

If you are a rights holder and believe a product listed on this site infringes your trade mark, copyright or registered design, contact us at support@sameside.store with:

  • your name, organisation and contact details;
  • the right you rely on (registration number or a description of the work/design);
  • the URL of the listing in question; and
  • a short explanation of the concern.

We aim to acknowledge notices within 2 business days. Where a concern is credible, we remove or suspend the listing while we investigate, and we do not require a formal legal process before doing so.
